Charnwood Commercial Bodies entered the Refrigerated Van market in the last few years and are now leading the way in delivering Fridge & Freezer vans with unbeatable payload's and quality, at a very competitive price. Our flagship vehicle the Fridge Freezer box on a Mercedes Sprinter chassis achieves a payload of up to 1100kg, which is unrivalled in the entire sector. This body type has an impressive 13m3 cubic carrying capacity and has a moveable internal bulkhead to separate the freezer compartment at the front, from the fridge compartment at the rear. Frozen goods can be stored down to -20 degrees, and refrigerated goods can be stored at +3 degrees Celsius. We are experienced in building Refrigeration bodies on various different vehicle manufacturers such as Mercedes, Renault Trucks, Maxus, Iveco and many more, including the EV variations of these chassis. Our business has the capacity to convert panel vans into fridges, as well as build 3.5tonne vehicle bodies, up to 18tonne trucks. Charnwood are also very committed to providing customers with the unique designs and bespoke requirements they desire and are always willing to build or convert vehicles exactly to customers specifications, even if they are not our standard conversions. Our lasting impression on the Refrigerated van market will be something to remember, priding ourselves in that personal care during the purchasing process right up to the aftercare you will always receive from us. You will also receive a 3 year or 100,000 mile warranty on our vehicles to match the chassis manufacturer warranty for that extra peace of mind.
