McWhinney’s Premium Sausages
McWhinney’s Sausages is a sixth-generation family business that has been making the same high quality Irish Pork Sausages since 1898. Current Managing Director Kevin McWhinney is the fifth generation of the family to faithfully produce the original secret recipe that has served the past generations so well and seen the business go from strength to strength. Kevin, a Master Butcher by trade, made the decision to focus on exclusively producing Pork Sausages. Along with his wife Elaine, also a fifth generation qualified butcher, Kevin took the business from a local butcher’s shop to the nationally recognised and award-winning quality brand that is known today.
McWhinney’s Premium Sausages, made using 70% pork, have been tried and tested in the UK market for the past 20 years and have proved to be extremely popular with customers who value the consistent quality they receive each and every time. It comes in a variety of sizes including the famous footlong Bigfoot! The consistency is a result of the company’s investment in cutting-edge technology and the efforts of our hardworking and dedicated team who understand the importance to the customer that every order is perfect.
Over the years the range has expanded to include the Gold, Cumberland, Flamin' Hot and more recently a Gluten Free Sausage. There is something to fit every occasion with McWhinney's Sausages finding a place on menus up and down the country in a wide selection of outlets. We will be proudly displaying the entire range at stand T30. We look forward to bringing the sausage customers deserve to the Restaurants and Takeaway Innovation Expo 2023.
Now in its 125th year the company is excited to welcome the sixth generation into the business with Kevin’s son, Scott McWhinney, taking up the post of Sales and Marketing Director. Scott comes to the company after serving 7 years as a Barrister - He is committed to maintaining the high standards that have always been at the heart of McWhinney’s Sausages and putting the varied training he has undertaken to good use in the new role with the company.
